In late 2006, the Arizona Motorcycle Safety Advisory Council went out for RFP. At that time, the AZMSAC was charged with promoting motorcycle safety, increasing public awareness of the need to share the road with motorcyclists in order to help reduce crashes, injuries, fatalities and reduce impaired riding in Arizona.
We would accomplish this by creating and distributing public service announcements, seminars and video’s with the theme, “Rise Safe. Drive Aware.”
We would also develop and distribute educational materials that emphasized the importance of riding responsibly and the perils of impairment
We would Create a multi-media marketing campaign using television, radio, billboards, newspapers, magazines and the Internet to promote motorcycle safety and awareness.
Below is the logo which was rendered by Russ Pedersen, in our Kansas City office. This logo also won an International WOLDA Award in 2009.
This was the first State account I pitched as Pitzer Art & Design. At the same time I was creating my RFP response, I was in talks with Bozell Omaha to possibly take PA&D and turn it into a Bozell and open a Scottsdale office. The AZMSAC win helped to make that happen.
