My first assignment was to create a logo for the development. The final product is shown above. Below, are some of the explorations I presented to Brad Reynolds and Joe Campbell of Quantum Development.
As the project progressed, Brad and Joe had me develop an updated color palette for the Montaña Vista development. The hope was to push the use of desert colors schemes and accent colors beyond the traditional color palettes in vogue in the Phoenix new home market at that time. Along with the color assignment, I was also asked to create a naming approach for the Montaña Vista Estates models.
The positioning line I created for Montaña Vista was "Minutes Away. Worlds Apart." This was based on the fact that the development was about 10 minutes from Downtown Phoenix, but Quantum Development was also taking a non-traditional approach to their gated community, unlike other local developers.
My website design featured highly tuned SEO meta descriptions along with maximized html for increased search and Google rankings.
Entry gate designs created by Michael Pitzer for the Montaña Vista Estates project. The lower left was the chosen design which was then produced by local artisans.
NOTE: The creative work displayed in this post...
The assignment for Montaña Vista Estates, was to develop the entire brand standards and marketing for this 7-acre, 19 custom home sites development offering Downtown Phoenix and local mountain views.
